2021 Reunion Dinner Blessings
This CNY, PFS staff and 150 beneficiaries were pleasantly blessed, as they received sponsored steamboat sets from well-wishers. Our partner in our Charity Steamboat Sale event, DoDo Marketing Pte Ltd, also donated sale proceeds to 70x7 and blessed 150 of our beneficiaries with seafood gift packs.
Yuletide Cheer For PFS Care Club Beneficiaries
Charity and kindness go hand-in-glove this festive season to bring Yuletide cheer to PFS Care Clubbers! In the light of the prevailing pandemic that has severely impacted PFS families; Lifehouse Singapore (“Lifehouse”) partnered with PFS to bring some festive cheers to 62 PFS Care Club children!
Delivering a taste of Joy
As the COVID-19 lockdown across Singapore continued to affect PFS beneficiaries, the PFS team decided to bless our beneficiaries and their families with a Meal Blessing event.
WW73: Dr William Wan’s 73rd birthday push-ups for social good
Dr William Wan, celebrated his 73rd birthday on 7 June 2020, tested his physical limits for a good cause. To raise funds for an initiative by Prison Fellowship Singapore, the chairman of the organisation committed to 73 push-ups – one for each year of his age – and was live-streamed over Facebook.
A delivery of reconciliation
They had signed up as volunteers for Prison Fellowship Singapore’s annual Angel Tree Hamper Project, to personally deliver hampers containing food and beverages, stationery, gadgets as well as household cleaning products to families of the incarcerated.
Caring for our family of volunteers
Our PFS Family Care team organised a volunteers’ fellowship to thank our steadfast volunteers who have been serving the children of inmates and ex-offenders; by ferrying the children to and fro our Care Club venues weekly, helping them with homework and organising games and activities for them.
Celebrating 66 years of restoration
Prison Fellowship Singapore celebrated our 66th anniversary with a Gala Dinner at the iconic Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel, where more than 400 of our donors, volunteers, church leaders, key partners and beneficiaries took time on a weeknight to celebrate our anniversary with us, with renowned homegrown comedian Gurmit Singh as the emcee.
