Social Impact Projects
The Social Impact Project arm of PFS aims to empower two key groups facing employment challenges.
First, it offers supervised work experience and skills development opportunities for ex-offenders with physical disabilities, intellectual challenges, or those facing ageing issues.
Second, it supports caregivers of children, including grandparents and transnational spouses.
The program also works to raise public awareness of the impact of crime on families and children, recognizing them as indirect victims. By providing both employment support and increased public understanding, this program offers a comprehensive approach to helping these often overlooked groups.
“Being part of the sewing leather project at PFS has sparked a real
passion in me. What started as something new has become meaningful, as sewing feels like a form of therapy that helps me relax and stay
focused. Through this experience, I’ve learned valuable new skills and
gained confidence in creating something with my own hands. It is also
rewarding to be able to earn a bit of allowance knowing that my efforts
have value. Overall, this journey has been fulfilling and empowering,
giving me both purpose and growth.”
