While keeping active at home during the circuit breaker period, Chairman of Prison Fellowship Singapore, Dr William Wan challenged his followers to commit to 5 push-ups each day, adding 1 more push-up every other day for the next 30 days. As Dr Wan celebrated his 73rd birthday on 7 June 2020, he decided to test his physical limits for a good cause. To raise funds for an initiative by Prison Fellowship Singapore, Dr Wan committed to live-stream himself doing 73 push-ups – one for each year of his age – over Facebook. The event was also joined by well-known radio personality, Brian Richmond.

The video challenge garnered 6.7K views as of 29 May, and many resonated with his message of being kind to oneself by keeping fit.

Dr Wan dedicated this fundraising effort to the memories of Rev Khoo Siaw Hua and Rev Henry Khoo for the foundations they laid in caring for the lost, the last and the least.

All proceeds raised from #WW73forgood have gone towards 70×7, an initiative by Prison Fellowship Singapore to help inmates and ex-offenders in their journey to restore their personal lives, reconcile families and reintegrate into society.

Final Donation Count at 30 mins: $130,899
