An Artistic Gift of Love

10 Sep 2021

Prison Fellowship Singapore and 70x7 would like to give a warm thank you to Ms Tammy Yim, Ms Faith Teo and Ms Stephanie Peck from The Crayon Collective (TCC) for their generous donation of $653.73 and 76 beautifully designed post cards!

TCC is run by the afore-mentioned creative team of ladies, who craft post cards for sale. PFS invited Tammy to share more about The Crayon Collective, and she had this to say:

“The Crayon Collective is a 100% not-for-profit youth-run initiative that hopes to make a difference in serving humanity. We sell a range of beautifully hand-drawn A6-sized postcards that may be gifted to loved ones or simply hung up as prints! All our postcards are priced at a fixed rate of $2 in hopes of making them affordable and accessible for as many people as possible.

All the net profits of TCC’s product sales will go directly to supporting the work of Prison Fellowship Singapore (PFS), where we hope to make a difference in the lives of inmates and their families, all of whom are God’s beloved children. We hope to support the ministry work of PFS within prisons, including personal counselling, chapel services, Bible study and Prison Gate Ministry efforts to help ex-offenders reintegrate into society.”

TCC did not only support PFS via donation. Their customers were also welcomed to pledge their purchases to Care Club [CC] via 70x7 (an Institute of Public Character initiative under PFS). CC supports the children of our beneficiaries with various programmes, activities and initiatives. The pledged postcards will be used by CC volunteers to write notes of encouragement to the children, in hopes of encouraging and sharing God’s love with them.

This call for donor support was strongly welcomed by those reached out to, with a total of 76 post cards being graciously pledged towards the beneficiaries of Care Club! Thank you again to The Crayon Collective for their kind donation, which has blessed the beneficiaries of PFS!
