About the course


This seminar will be an exploration and discussion on the dynamics of codependency and family dysfunction as roots to addictive coping mechanisms.

The use of genograms will be introduced as a tool in understanding behavioral and thinking patterns in the family of origin. Participants will be encouraged to actively share in small groups from their own life experiences and hopefully gain some insights on their own emotional and behavioral patterns.


This 2.5hour session covers:

1. Codependency: Description and Traits of a codependent
2. Codepedency and Interdependency, Healthy and Unhealthy Relationships
3. How Recovery from Codependency Can Look Like


About the trainer

Dr Linda Bubod is currently the clinical director and faculty at the School of Counselling, Singapore Bible College. She has been a counsellor/teacher for more than 15 years dealing with addicts, abuse victims and those struggling with depression, anxiety and trauma related disorders.
